11/25/2023 0 Comments Shop vac vs dust extractorControlling dust in the air and on the ground also prevents a fire hazard. As I'm sure you're aware, breathing in dust particles isn't good for you. Here are several reasons why a dust collection system is so valuable: The large hose for the table saw can also be connected to the jointer or planer. Mine can connect to the router table, table saw or miter saw with a quick switch of the blast gate. If you have a workshop with large power tools, you should consider a dust collection system. You can convert your one stage system into a two stage system with the addition of a cyclone dust separator, which collects most of the sawdust into a bucket so only the small particles are trapped by the filter. Dust collectors come in many forms, but all have a larger hose than shop vacs and a more powerful motor.Ī single stage dust collector connects a stationary power tool directly to a powerful fan that deposits the wood dust into a bag. Consider it a portable dust collector that you can take with you to the job site! What is a Dust Collector?Ī dust collector is a vacuum device that removes sawdust from your workshop. Dust extractors also have better filters, typically HEPA grade that traps airborne dust down to 0.3 microns. Dust collector is high air flow, low suction (which is why lighter sawdust and wood chips will float down the wide hose, but it can't pick up metal or large pieces).Ī dust extractor is similar to a shop vac, but can move a larger volume of air.Shop vac is high suction, low air flow (which is why you can suck a screw right off the floor with the narrow hose).Technically speaking, the difference between a shop vac and a dust collector is: You can also use it like a regular vacuum for tasks like cleaning up your car, or as a wet vac to suck up water. Shop vacs work well for general cleanup or removing dust from smaller tools. 11/25/2023 0 Comments Davinci resolve add textWith 16 options to choose from, you’ll have no problems adding text to your videos with this template. This is not the first time EA has done this to my account. Which has absolutely nothing to do with our issues, and in most cases, we are talking about singleplayer-only games. Comment my topic if you approuve my suggestions. Because some others developpers have already an app to that Please EA, made an app for us your customers. They were only too happy to direct me to the store pages for the games I have missing for me to re-purchase them at the FULL PRICE. Opening cases is useless as the people responding to cases keep repeating that certain games/content were 'sunset' because they simply look at the list of decommissioned multiplayer servers. Origin para Mac es la plataforma de EA para descargar y jugar a juegos en macOS. Hello, I suggest an app for iPhone, Android and Windows Phone to connect on origin to contact with friends and pre-order (order too) the EA games with Origin account. but I think that they may be pushing towards only allowing games purchased directly through their new App. Origin currently offers a 7-day trial, after which you’ll need to make. While not going into any great detail, he did say the PC-based gaming service which allows you to buy EA games digitally and keep in touch with. Speaking at this year’s GamesCom, EA CEO Peter Moore revealed the news to the gaming press. It’s a subscription-based service, which means you’ll need to sign up to download and use the manager. EA is set to bring its Origin digital games service to Android phones and tablets around the world. They have suggested that I purchase games through the EA Store and ONLY the EA Store as that is the only sure fire way they have of keeping track legitimatly. Origin is the name of a PC gaming service from game developers Electronic Arts and the name of the download manager you use to get those PC games onto your computer. They told me my games have been hidden until each one can be verified as a legal purchase, the process can be sped up if I provide them with purchase records however due to confusion with which purchases are GOG, Fanatical, Steam, Humble bundles excetra they cannot make any promises. They have hinted that having issues identifying which accounts legitimatly own their games and which ones have "may" obtainted Keys through illegal means or underground websites. I got a response from EA support suggesting I simply purchase them again through their App store. Download the EA app to start growing your Library and get to playing your games. 11/25/2023 0 Comments Best canadian investment newslettersWe'll bring you fascinating stories of people, places and events not being told anywhere else. I finally realized that I’m supposed to be an Angry reviewer now, and so brooding was likely to be more effective than simple pondering. But I ended up struggling to understand why this didn’t click. I found myself at an indifferent middle ground with this whole affair, my appetite for tasty shred being only partially and irregularly sated. Between my love for heavy instrumental prog, the icons of shred and solo guitar, and even the cleaner, instrumental side of djent, I was starting to pump myself up for Synapse, as it reconciles elements of all three to a certain extent. Embarrassingly, my next favorite track is a fifty second interlude: the chorus-laden, acoustic-electric arpeggio strains of “Noradrenaline.” Not because everything else sucks, mind you, but merely because Angel actually makes some different, pleasant sounds for about a minute. While I find ripping opener “Adrenaline” and the subsequent refrain hooks of “G.A.B.A.” easy to follow and enjoyable, the almost ceaseless staccato chug-riffing results in a tendency to lose oneself amidst the songs. Shred often walks a fine line between self-indulgence and memorability. If there’s one thing I’d generally say that Angel gets right, it’s keeping track times down. That seems as pretentious as marketing this as a full-length, frankly, though in the end, it’s probably just as well this is limited to nine relatively brief tracks running bare y half an hour. “Concept” in this case referring to a loose gathering of the names of a bunch of hormones and neuro-transmitters, thrown together in a somewhat disorganized heap with Vivaldi’s musical interpretation of the effects and behavior of each pervading its eponymous song. Synapse is, at least nominally, a “concept” album. Effects are heavily employed and with constancy – a behavior typical for Vivaldi, and sometimes polarizing for instrumental virtuoso fans, myself not generally included. The name of the game here is, pure modern shred. Synapse is a hard-hitting, predominantly up-tempo piece of work. As such, I reckoned that if the guy was ever going to impress me, this would be his shot. As much a visual showman with his presentation as a fret-scorcher, Vivaldi has certainly built up Synapse to sound like an immensely personal album. Perhaps it’s my general perception of his persona as egregiously narcissistic, or maybe it’s just that his works, while technically impressive, have never struck me as having much “heart” or consistency. Angel Vivaldi and I have had our brushes in the past, but despite his considerable back catalog, I’ve never found myself with the racing heart and flushed cheeks that many other younger instrumental/shred fans seem to exhibit when his name comes up. 11/24/2023 0 Comments Clion download windowsIf nobody else can do it right, then it's up to me to do it myself. I'm glad work has finally started on making a plugin for IDEA (not sure about P圜harm and others), but I can't be asked to support such glaring issues that won't be fixed any time soon.Īnd this is what drove me to my decision. ^ if it's really that much of a headache then maybe it's actually time to cease development on current projects and make everyone aware you're starting over.Īnd then there's the issue of EAP vs Community as addressed hereĮvery other IDE has a community edition, yet this CLion aims to make it harder on devs by providing potentially broken free releases. (why do you need reasons to ease stresses and better your core architecture?) Yet they move like a sloth on the needless questioning of reasons to support such functionality. I'd be more than happy to pay (when possible) for a core architecture broken up into multiple IDEs that can support any language. It doesn't take much common sense to figure out managing multiple plugins that need to be built differently for multiple IDEs that all do the same things is incredibly inefficient. Heck they have a request to make CLion into a core plugin for IDEA (or other IDEs) that's been going on for at least 15 years (I've been around for at least 4 (longer than when I created my account) years just dealing with having to use and configure multiple JB IDEs for everything I do)īut when you start needing multiple IDEs to support multiple languages, it ends up becoming a hassle to configure them allĪnd they haven't seemed to have made any acknowledgements to improve this until just recentlywhy they'd need I just want to point out I'm fed up with the seemingly severe lack of common sense toward development You'll see it later in the future when the main API I'm writing it on is much more completeīut I don't want to change the topic and steal JB's limelight on their platform I really only need C support, which is something I can currently manage. Though I will say, I don't intend to compete with C++ anytime soon (yes I've actually written an IDE prior, but it wasn't anything great, and wasn't even meant for general development) I'm writing a software suite, so I may as well improve upon my previous IDE developments with my new API Mainly both tbh, though not so much the lack of features, but the seeming lack of acknowledgement and common sense for features.īut it's not just CLion that drove me to the decision, it's the lack of comparable alternatives. I AM waiting patiently (if being a hacker isn't enough to tell you I HAVE patience), but it's getting a bit ridiculous. How many more years do I have to hold out before I can actually start working on C/++ code? I've already stated numerous times already I don't prefer using individual IDEs for each code base. I'd like to switch to CLion, but this doesn't seem possible unless there's actually community edition available. ^ having 3 instances open on ~4GB (3506MiB) of RAM could also be another (yes I work on multiple projects) (I'm not using the latest version of IDEA, so that could be a reason) I've just recently started working on a Python project that integrates both Java and C++ that's causing IDEA to hang when configuring the project files. (nor do I like hacking, I shouldn't have to hack a FOSS program just to do my work) ( ) I don't qualify for the free license, nor can I afford to buy a license. 11/24/2023 0 Comments Pixelmator pro change grid sizeBy that I mean all edits must be made on the same layer that has image material to directly work on. When I asked for Pixelmator to confirm that there’s no History panel to be optioned, I got a one-word affirmation of “correct.” I’m thinking that means they don’t intend to change that anytime soon.Īnother big issue I have with Pixelmator Pro is that there’s no adjustment layers capability. I found out the hard way that if you accidentally delete that complicated mask on a layer that took a long time to draw, you can’t undo that and get it back. Furthermore, some actions appear to not record in the Undo-Redo log, such as deleting a mask. There’s the basic Undo and Redo menu actions, but there’s no multi-step undoing and no visual record of what’s happening to the image being edited. Apparently professionals don’t make mistakes and don’t care to one-click check before and after versions of their complex, multi-step changes. One of the more glaring omissions is having no History panel. The first place I looked was the Preferences window, however I was stopped dead in my tracks at the only two tabs on the screen: General and Rulers. There’s a sizable amount missing from an editor considered “Pro” by name. While the interface looks aesthetically pleasing, once work began on photo editing I started to notice Pixelmator Pro begin to unravel in its functionality. Pixelmator’s statement on the issue is that they “feel a dark interface works best for editing images,” continuing, “but we haven’t ruled out a light option in the future.” Functionality Nino Batista has a great article to explore more on the subject if you are interested. Dark interfaces also strain my eyes more because my pupils have to stay wide open to gather more light, just like when forced to read paragraphs of white on black text. Generally, a middle gray is what I find best for photo editing a dark interface will usually result in darker images since they appear to be lighter than what they actually are in comparison to the surrounding darkness. Combined with low contrast gray tool icons and text, your eyes are in for a workout if you spend a lot of time editing. The non-optional near-black interface is definitely going to be a turn off for some users. |
